An intense game between the Tulsa Union Redskins took place March 10, unfortunately resulting in a very close loss of 0-1. The girl’s soccer team practiced hard for their game Thursday against Rogers Heritage.
The girls left after sixth period in hope for a win after playing an exciting and tough game against the very skilled Lady Eagles, ending with a close score of 0-3.
The defense was excellent from the visiting Lady Wildcats. The first half was a very close game with a lot of back-and-forth action.
It wasn’t until the second half that the Lady Eagles started to score their few and far between points, despite the fantastic and strong defensive front from the Lady Wildcats.
With several attempts by the Lady Wildcats to score, the offense was blocked by ruthless Lady Eagle defense. Both teams had fantastic defensive lines which proved for a very intense match.
Hopefully Tuesday’s game at Bulldog Stadium against the Lady Bulldogs will boost the Lady Wildcats’ hopes for another victory.
