New Years Resolution to take risks
In the year of 2023, I want to be able to take risks without having to think about it. I want to do things that will make me feel free. Even though I’m more of an introvert, I feel like I can step out of my comfort zone and step into the unknown.
I think taking risks is a good way to start doing things that have always scared you. When taking risks, I need to set boundaries and know my limits. I don’t want to go crazy with it, so I need to be careful with what I can handle. I want to feel a sense of accomplishment after taking risks.
It might feel scary to start, but taking a risk even if it doesn’t go exactly as planned can be exhilarating. But at the end of the day you’ll be proud of yourself for your bravery and courage. Taking risks can help you create evidence to disprove old assumptions about yourself. Releasing those assumptions can be freeing. You learn more about yourself along the way.
Taking risks opens up new opportunities.
People around you can help you stay motivated and encourage you when you’re feeling afraid to take the risks. Your very own support group. They can help you with risks that are worth taking. With the right group of people, taking risks can be much easier.
Start small. Risk taking doesn’t always mean “winging it.” It’s better to be prepared so your chances of success can come easy. I’ll take all the chances that come my way and work my way there.
