“IF YOU’RE NOT A SENIOR, GET OFF THE FENCE!” a senior screams in the student section at innocent, cowering juniors and sophomores. These juniors and sophomores showed up to the game early, yet they have to move for seniors that breezed in ten minutes before the game started?! I DO NOT THINK SO.
Just because you’re a senior does not give you the right to remove other students from the front lines of the student section. Especially if you do not attend Har-Ber and aren’t going to cheer during the game! It’s not fair to the juniors and sophomores! They took the responsibility, unlike these lazy seniors who think they deserve everything they want because they were born a year earlier, to plan out their night and get to the game in order to stand on the fence to cheer on their football team!
These seniors just casually stroll in to the stands and demand other people to move! It’s not our fault you arrived late!
These seniors need to take responsibility and place themselves on the fence early, allowing plenty of time before the game starts.
I, myself, am a senior. Sure, I think that if seniors are responsible and will actually lead the student section, then yes, they should be able to squeeze their way onto the fence line. But if a junior or sophomore is cheering louder than a late, demanding senior who wants to scroll through their Twitter feed during the game, then the senior should drag their butt back to the top of the student section.
It’s no wonder our student section is so quiet. Juniors and sophomores get treated horribly, so why would they even want to cheer?
If you want a spot on the fence at the football game, you better cheer, and most of all, show up early to earn your spot.
