Musician Jay-Z now supports Obama’s take on same-sex marriage, and Lady Gaga even tweeted, “Obama, congratulations on being the first sitting President to support marriage equality. Feels like the future, and not the past. #NoFear”
Now, all of these fans of these celebrities will agree with their idols, resulting in more votes for President Obama’s reelection. Also, this sudden change in opinion has many people talking about Obama, transferring the spotlight of politics onto him, just like he planned.

He only changed his position to get publicity so that citizens will transfer their focus on the 2012 campaign from the republican candidates to him and his new, fresh, modern opinions on gay marriage.
According to an ABC News exclusive interview with President Obama, Obama claims that he has gone through an “evolution” over the issue of same-sex marriage. In this interview, President Obama also stated that he “personally” felt the need to affirm his position on monogamous relationships. This statement came after North Carolina passed a constitutional amendment defining marriage as solely between a man and a woman.
