Lecrae’s new album “Gravity” came out Sept. 4. This is the sixth album released by Lecrae. The up-tempo Christian rap along with the smooth vocals of various accompanying such as: J.R., Tedashii, Ashton Jones, and Trip Lee creates a pleasing and entertaining sound perfect for the car or wherever someone wants to listen to excellent rap music.
“Gravity” is based upon the books of Ecclesiastes and Solomon from the Bible.
“…There’s a sober picture of how it’s only for a short period of time…[but] that we still have Jesus,” said Lecrae in an interview with Family Christian.
Lecrae’s main purpose in writing his songs is his lyrics. He wants to make an impact in the world.
The song “Free From it All” features Mathai, a 19 year old girl from Queens, NY. She was a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”
Lecrae also released a deluxe version of “Gravity” with his top selling song “Fuego” featuring KB and Suzy Rock.
Lecrae will be going on his Unashamed Tour 2012: Come Alive. He will be performing in cities such as New York, Memphis, and Miami.
“Gravity” can be found on iTunes for $11.99 or $14.99 for the deluxe version. It also can be found at the Family Christian Bookstore in Fayetteville for $13.99.
