When I pulled into the Genghis Grill parking lot in Rogers near the mall to feast upon the fast casual, Asian stir-fry meal, I found it difficult to find a parking spot. People were parking across the street just eat there! I was already expecting a delicious meal, and that’s exactly what I received!
I didn’t have to wait long for a table and right away my waiter stepped up and took my drink order. Since it was my first time there, the waiter led me to “Khan’s Kitchen” where a customer prepares their bowl for the grill. I decided on beef with green peppers, onions, and pineapple. For my sauces I chose a blend on the Mongo BQQ and the Dragon sauce. I placed my bowl on the counter and asked the cook for noodles as my starch. They then handed me a number, and I returned to my table to wait for my delicious meal to arrive.
After a short wait, my red bowl arrived filled with my tasty food. I took my first bite and immediately loved it! It was a littler spicy, which was fine with me. My choices of veggies, meat, sauces, and starch were definitely pleasing to the palate.
There were many things I loved about Genghis Grill such as the atmosphere, polite employees, and selection of meats, but there were also a few particulars in which were displeasing to me.
First, the price was kind of outrageous. For your first bowl, the price was $9.99. Which, doesn’t seem bad at first but for an “endless bowl,” (all-you-can-eat), it’s another $4.99. That’s a total of around $15 for dinner for one person, not including dessert. Also, the chefs add the starches, which doesn’t give the customer the ability to choose how much they want in their bowl.
Other than those few things, Genghis Grill was delicious and their food was packed with tons of flavor.
