The fall wind blows in a new school year, and as leaves start turning, football season begins again. People flock to those games under the Friday night lights. What do most people do until kick off? Tailgating is a great way to get pumped up for the game, but how do you pull off a successful tailgate party?
Here are ten tailgating must haves.
Friends: having a tailgate party by yourself might get a little lonely so invite some Friends to join you.
Food: It just wouldn’t be a tailgate party without some food. Starving your guest is never a good idea. Some popular food ideas are burgers, hot dogs, buns, chips, condiments, refreshments.
Cooler: A cooler full of ice will keep your food fresh and refreshments cold.
Grill: Of course you’ll need a grill, unless you want to eat raw meat, which would be suitable for a zombie tailgate party, but we’re Wildcats so let’s grill.
Music: Music is a great way to get pumped up for the game and can help fill any awkward silences.
Jacket: Tailgate parties tend to get a little cold so bring a jacket because you don’t want to be a popsicle.
Football: You and your friends can get in on the game.
Folding Chairs: If you don’t like sitting on the ground, bring a chair.
Spirit Wear: Show school spirit and dress to represent and support your team.
But the most important thing is to HAVE FUN!!!!
