Rumors have been swirling around the internet of the old 90’s Nickelodeon cartoons returning to daytime TV. These rumors were sparked when El Modena High School in California wrote an article speaking of the return.
The article states that Nickelodeon will return to the studio on March 14 with the classic cartoons and produce new episodes.
The rumors have neither been confirmed, nor denied; however, they have gained the attention of teens around the country. Blogs, post, petitions, and vlogs have all gone up ranting about the hopes for the returning cartoons.
According to the article, Nickelodeon has faced a significant drop in their rating since the late 1990’s. If this is true, then it may be wise for Nickelodeon to return the shows, teens are exclaiming with excitement about the shows.
The majority of teens don’t enjoy the Nick shows like “Big Time Rush” and “iCarly” and instead would rather see the return of shows they grew up with like “Rugrats” and “Doug.”
Whether or not Nick really does bring back the classic cartoons that teens grew up with is mystery. However, Nick should keep the thought in mind; it would most likely raise their ratings and keep the angry mob of teenagers to a minimum.
